rocks

Every ware you look around her there are rocks and fossils.  I found these round rocks that have calcite crystals in the middle.  I think they are really cool.

first daffodil

This is the first daffodil to peak out of the ground!  My Grandma always said that daffodils chase away the melancholy daemon.... and I think she was right because I did feel really happy when I saw this.

spider bite

6 years ago I was bit by a brown recluse spider....  This is what the scar looks like today.   All the conventional doctors tried to get me to cut my leg OFF. 

I decided to do something different.

This is me.... Just a quick accident, but turned out kind of artsy.

I am pretty lucky to live here!  This is delicate arch.  Everyone look close because this last winter a part (of the delicate side) fell off.  One day it wont be an arch any more....   If you haven't bee there it is right up on a cliff edge on one side and there is a natural hole that dips down on the other side.

Our house is over seventy years old and I think this truck has been parked in the carport most of that time.  My hubby's grandfather bought it new.   We ripped out the blue kitchen but we don't have the heart to get rid of blue so hubby drives it.  The oddest thing is that the truck and the kitchen were the Exact Same color.  welcome to my time warp....
