Ethan came to get a new hair cut with Grandpa.  He sat so still and was super good while he waited for Grandpa to get done.   I just think he is growing into the most handsome boy!

Kyle

I know it is bad to have favorites....  but Kyle is totally my favorite young man.  He lives next door and comes over all the time and makes me feel happy and young again.  He just let me do his hair and help pick out his clothes for his senior pictures.  I am really going to miss him when he goes away to school.

It is pear picking time!  Thank goodness my father in law told me that you pick them now and wait for them to get ripe in about a week.  =)   I always wondered why they fell off the tree before they got ripe.

Have you ever seen cherries like these?  Most years the birds get them... this year I won the battle.  I was going to make something with them, but my family thought they were better than candy.

Cliff Rose

This is a Giant cliff rose that lives in the orchard.  For about 2 weeks every year is is beautiful!  When the wind blows it smells like heaven.

I got sick of the wind slamming the bath room door in the middle of the night so I made this cute (and heavy) door stop.  Can you tell that I was inspired by my bird nest?
