shadow

Is your shadow self good or evil?  I am pretty sure mine would be bad....  and a lot happier than my real self.  Maybe there is a way to combine them a bit?

on the other side

It is cold outside and the kitties want in.  The girl wants out so they are all out of luck.  The black one is new.  Maybe he came for Halloween?

snow!

We finally got some snow.  It is the end of October and this is out first sign of winter.  Hubby is thinking he may get to snowmobile soon.... we'll see.

This picture is taken from Arches national park looking toward the LaSal mountains.  I'm so luck to live here!

fairy Queen

This lovely creature is my niece.  She wanted me to take a picture of her by the tree so I snapped a quick one.  It wasn't planned, but the way the setting sun is coming through the windows of the house and hitting the tree behind her makes it look like she has wings!  When she saw it she said  "hey I am the fairy Queen!".  She now we all know what the queen looks like.

flash

We are having a crazy storm!  It is way harder to take photos of lightning than I thought. I did get lucky a few times and it is beautiful!

who me?

I went out to the shop to use the saw and found this little guy (or gal)  on the bag that catches the saw dust.  So I ran in and got the camera.  Just as I was getting ready to take the picture he turns his head and looks right at me.  I didn't even know mantises could turn only their head.  You learn something new every day!

wake up!

Actually, I was already awake when the sun came up.  That is how I got this photo today.  I love the quiet part of the morning.  It gives me the time to get life back in perspective.

My happy place

I planted canna lilies in the back yard this year.  to my surprise Morning Glories came up volunteer.  I think the combo is beautiful!  When I need to get away and find some Zen.... this is ware you will find me.
