roses
This is the wall the separates my house from Carols house. I love when the roses are in bloom. I open the windows up in the house and everything smells so good.

This is a Giant cliff rose that lives in the orchard. For about 2 weeks every year is is beautiful! When the wind blows it smells like heaven.

door stop
I got sick of the wind slamming the bath room door in the middle of the night so I made this cute (and heavy) door stop. Can you tell that I was inspired by my bird nest?

nest
Look how cute! These will grow up to finches. If anyone has tips on how to keep the birds out of my flowers I would love to hear them.
flower planter
My new flower planter is done! If you look closely you can see my flowers have already sprouted. I don't think I'll have any problems with clients hitting the fence with their car now.

kalista's fish
Isn't she pretty? Counting the tail she is about 3 feet long! There are actually 4 this size in the pond, but they are hard to get photos of.

This is where all the Advanced in Years men in Moab come to discuss the state of the world and how badly we messed it up.

calendula
This is the very first calendula blossom. I am very proud of it because it is a whole month earlier than last year. I have some amazing body care recipes just waiting for when they all start coming up.

Hubby was pretty disappointed to find out that this was not jam. It is hair color.... hee hee. He could eat it if he wanted it wouldn't hurt.

round rock
I found this round rock while out on a run. Aunt Billie said it is an Indian artifact that was used in a game they used to play. It is almost perfectly round, about the size of a tether ball, and weighs in at 7lbs!

my favorite sister
When we were little I would always tell Katie that she was my favorite sister. She would get mad at me and say that she is my ONLY! sister.
She really is my favorite. I am so lucky to have her in my life. What an Amazing woman she has turned out to be!
***Adia took this picture! I think we have a little photographer in our midst.

Chuckers
Aren't they cute!?! These chuckers live here with us there is a flock of about 12 or 13 that is always running around in the garden. I believe these two have a nest some ware in our yard because they act like they own the place. so we will have to watch our step.

damselfly
There is lots of damselflies hanging around today. One landed on K's arm and I thought she was going to fly away she was flapping so hard. I don't know if she was happy or just wanted to get it the heck off.

Grape tree
A million years ago... or maybe just 80 years ago Jim's Grandma Ruthie planted some grape vines along her fence. Over the years no one cared for them. They were planted by the spring let out so they did really well. Now we have 4 trees that the vines climb all the way to the top and drape back down. This works really well. I get the bottom grapes and the birds get the top of the tree.

new flower planter
Jim and Glen are making me 3 new flower planters. Here they are putting up the forms for the first one. It is going to look so pretty when they are done.

nectarine tree
These are really beautiful to look at... for some reason I think nectarine blossoms don't smell very good.

Grandma's tulips
Last spring Grandma Jaquie came to my house with a basket full of bulbs and told me to plant them. She said they were tulips. I ask her what color and she just said they were an "assortment". So I planted them and waited a whole year to find out what color....
The first one to peek out of the hiding is RED!

coffee can
I saw this old coffee can on one of my hikes. I don't know why but I think it is beautiful. I packed it home and I am going to put a flower pot in it.

come on mom...
Poor girl! She is always waiting on Me to hurry up and take the picture already. The desert is starting bloom. Spring is one of my favorite times of year!

rocks
Every ware you look around her there are rocks and fossils. I found these round rocks that have calcite crystals in the middle. I think they are really cool.

first daffodil
This is the first daffodil to peak out of the ground! My Grandma always said that daffodils chase away the melancholy daemon.... and I think she was right because I did feel really happy when I saw this.

spider bite
6 years ago I was bit by a brown recluse spider.... This is what the scar looks like today. All the conventional doctors tried to get me to cut my leg OFF.
I decided to do something different.

arches
I am pretty lucky to live here! This is delicate arch. Everyone look close because this last winter a part (of the delicate side) fell off. One day it wont be an arch any more.... If you haven't bee there it is right up on a cliff edge on one side and there is a natural hole that dips down on the other side.
